Answer:

With professional Integrative Massage and Osteopahtic Manual Therapy you can experience relief from muscular tension and pain, gain increased range of motion and a reduction of mental stress levels. The cause of your dysfunction will be addressed, not only the symptom. Integrative Massage is a manual therapy that can deliver both physical and emotional benefits. Osteopathic Manual Therapy is a hands on holostic approach considering the body as a whole during treatment.  Both manual therapies are also an important addition to an ongoing health regime to maintain the good health and wellness individuals are already experiencing

Treatments are specifically tailored to meet your needs.

Question:

How often will I need treatments?

Answer:

Your body can let you know. As well, your practitioner will make recommendations based on professional experience, followed up with consistant re-assessment of your needs and progress. Some people require only a few sessions to treat a specific problem, while others become regular users of treatment as both proactive and preventative healthcare. Both modalities of care can assist in recovery from injury and or dysfunction, as well as the maintenance of over all well-being.

Question:

Which regions of my body get treated?

Answer:

The therapist will ask you what you want to get out of the session. You will also be asked to describe any chronic or new problems that you are experiencing. This will determine the appropriate regions of your body that need attention. The practitioner addresses regions of your body that are both directly and indirectly associated with your area of complaint.  NO TREATMENT WILL BE CONDUCTED WITHOUT YOUR WRITTEN CONSENT.

Question:

Will I experience muscle soreness following a treatment?

Answer:

Most people report feel very relaxed, and often experience some relief from aches, pains and stress after a  session. However some people, experience mild soreness in the areas that were treated.  This may occur due to the fact that the positioning and or tension of different bodily structures have been altered.  Even if the new position is a better anatomical position, it may take your body a few days to adapt to this improved position.  Once this soreness is gone, a decrease in discomfort is often experienced.
